Amoeba-Tox is a powerful detoxifier homaccord designed to effectively address the presence of multiple water-borne parasites in the body. Multiple homaccords for the most common water-borne parasites alert the body to the presence of these organisms, while homeopathic herbs, sarcodes and polychrests assist in the drainage and elimination of these water-borne parasites at the correct cellular levels.

Amoeba are single celled, water-borne organisms, commonly found in the environment. These organisms live in lakes, streams, rivers and other water sources, feeding off of particulate matter and bacteria that they ingest via phag- ocytosis.

Pathogenic forms of amoeba are transmitted from person to person via fecal contamination of water and food, either from direct consumption or accidental inhalation of water during bathing or swimming in contaminated waters. Protozoans can be found in the intestines, lungs, muscle tissue and the digestive tract, releasing toxins and tissue destroying enzymes.

Microscopic protozoans harm more people than any other parasitic disease. The cyst or resting stage of this parasite is very resistant to temperature, dryness and chemicals, which are found everywhere in our environment. People ingest these cysts, which then "hatch" in our bodies. Although we are commonly exposed to protozoas, our immune systems usually keep them under control. Individuals with a weakened immune system or toxic condition cannot fight off these parasites as effectively as those with healthy systems.

In 1997, the World Health Organization reported that
Entamoeba hisolytica was responsible for up to 100 000 deaths per annum, placing it second only to malaria in mortality and morbidity from parasitic infections.
Reports indicate that North Americans play host to a similar percentage of single cell parasites (amoeba) as do the inhabitants most third world countries.
